So if I have to raise level, I should follow the plot line uncovered by combat level WL2 also have similar problem but if I have good enough weapon or explosives, I can go anywhere at any level unlike D:OS.Īnd worst of all, the amount of enemy is fixed in D:OS. In D2, it's combat is poor but thanks to that, it doesn't matter that I choose B instead of A while if I choose B instead of A, combat will punish me. Maybe it's all because of poor combat or stat system that make level difference a wall. I did try a lot of things to do some stupid way to avoid linear way but all I can say is, the game is not for non-linear way to play. ![]() It feel strange since the plot itself is open but combat make game linear. I wonder this kind of cheating works in newer version though. I can kill boses without combat with this stuff. Actually, I ignored the level line by using oil+fire things. The games let open a lot of sneaking abilities, allows do a lot of stuff with skipping rude combats or even any combat, allows skip a lot of contents that is difficult combats and still continue play. You can skip a lot of content of first areas, do plenty content of second areas including many quests and explore many stuff, reach last area and do many contents too, and even reach second half of last area. Totally wrong you just applied a non imaginative play following the standard routine you apply to all CRPG, explore an area and clean everything, explore next area and repeat. If you are not following enemy that is same level with you, you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Originally posted by pw1108:talking about D:OS, I really dissapointed that it's level is linear as hell.
